Brand New Blog

Greetings to Friends & Family!

We're starting our Grand Adventure...2-3 months RV trip across the U.S.A. and back. We departed home on Sunday, March 13th. First stop is the FMCA rally at Perry, GA. It is a huge rally, over 3000 coaches. There are vendors, new coach displays, seminars, entertainment, etc.  We have volunteered to be seminar monitors. We have to wear dorky grey ball caps to identify us, but the good part is we have priority parking(large spot on nice grass),  front seats at the entertainment and a  $10 ticket to buy anything we want from vendors. This is the Georgia State Fair grounds, huge place and we have our bikes to get around. We are here until Friday.

Among the many seminars of interest to RVers are classes given by Geeks On The Road...I just took a class on blogging, so here I am. It looks like a great way to keep in touch and let everyone know what we are doing. As this is my first attempt I'm sure I'll get better at it and the page will look prettier. Hope I can learn to put pics on it.

So far we have visited with Country Coach club members and this afternoon is a birthday party for a Coastal Tarheels fellow member. Jack is buying goodies for the coach & Smart Car.

Once again we are loving living in our coach and look forward to the rest of the adventure!

Mary Lou & Jack
